Eco-Label Certification for Eco-Friendly Hotel
On November 2, 2021, the Walkerhill Hotel & Resort officially received the "Eco-Label" certifying eco-friendliness from the "Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute," a subsidiary of the Ministry of Environment.
The "Eco-Label" is an official certification program run by the Ministry of the Environment that is given to goods and services that have been found to have increased "environmental-friendliness," such as lowering emissions of greenhouse gases and pollutants during the entire manufacturing process, consuming and discarding materials and goods, and conserving resources and energy.

Meal Sharing, Warm Contact
In the SK Group's "Meal Sharing, Warm Contact Project," Walkerhill Hotels & Resorts extends warmth to the community. At the Gwangjin Senior Welfare Center in January 2021, 200 elderly members of vulnerable groups received packed lunches, traditional Korean delicacies, and masks from Walkerhill executives and staff.
The Walkerhill culinary team directly provided menu consulting and Walkerhill SUPEX kimchi to provide healthy lunch boxes to older adults at this event. By working with a local lunch box company whose sales have decreased due to COVID-19, Walkerhill added its meaning to supporting small businesses. Additionally, we demonstrate our concern for the environment using tableware and packaging made of sustainable materials.
